Jaynic and Gateway 14 Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mid-Suffolk District Council, has been shortlisted by the Industrial Agents Society for The Range distribution unit at Gateway 14 in Stowmarket, Suffolk, in the Deal of The Year Over 250,000 sq ft category, sponsored by IPIF.
Now in their 36th year, the IAS Awards remain widely recognised as the industry’s premier networking event, attended by the country’s leading agents, owners, occupiers, developers and funders of industrial & logistics real estate.
The gala awards to present the awards to the winners will take place on Tuesday 26th September 2023 at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House London in Park Lane, London, W1.

The 1.17m sq ft The Range unit, that will be completed this autumn, has been pre-sold to the garden and leisure products retailer at Gateway 14 the new mixed-use development adjacent to Junction 50 of the A14 at Stowmarket, Suffolk.
The facility provides a high specification building with sustainability a central feature including EV charging, LED lighting, solar PV, smart energy systems and rainwater harvesting, and the development has a BREEAM Excellent.
Biodiversity is also a priority, with high-quality landscaping, green corridors and nesting boxes all being introduced across the site to support not only the wildlife and ecology but also to create a vibrant, attractive, and healthy working environment for employees.
Gateway 14 benefits from being part of Freeport East, one of only eight Freeports in the UK. The Freeport status will provide many businesses on Gateway 14 with a range of benefits including a suite of tax reliefs and simplified customs arrangements, together with partnering to deliver innovation and skills support for the wider community.
