Freeport East has received final Government approvals today allowing it to move forward into the delivery phase.
The development of the Freeport, which is expected to create up to 13,500 new jobs, will be boosted by £25 million in Government funding to support infrastructure development.

Gateway14 Ltd, advised by its development partner, Jaynic, has appointed Winvic Construction Ltd to build a warehouse approaching 1.2m sq ft for garden and leisure products retailer, The Range, at the Gateway 14 development adjacent to Junction 50 of the A14 at Stowmarket, Suffolk.

Mid Suffolk District Councillors and representatives from Gateway 14 Ltd and development partner Jaynic, have planted the first tree to mark the start of the landscaping regeneration at the Gateway 14 development, Stowmarket. 

Detailed planning consent has been given for the first unit at Gateway 14, Stowmarket, to be occupied by home, garden and leisure products retailer The Range – creating an estimated 1,650 jobs.

Gateway 14 Ltd, advised by development partner Jaynic, has submitted a reserved matters planning application for home, garden and leisure products retail company The Range for a high quality, sustainable logistics unit of approaching 1.2 million sq ft on the Gateway 14 scheme at Junction 50 of the A14, in Stowmarket, Suffolk.
